Arizona Sunshine creators Vertigo games have teamed up with another development team, Innerspace, to create A Fisherman’s Tale, a mind bending puzzle game in VR. You play as Bob, a puppet fisherman in a small lighthouse which contains a model of the same small lighthouse, which contains a model of the same small lighthouse, which contains… you get the idea, it’s fishy Inception with puppets.
A storm is brewing and it’s your task to get to the top of lighthouse. “As you attempt to leave your cabin with the help of some uncanny sidekicks, you realise what’s waiting outside is not at all what you expected and that you will have to twist and bend your new, peculiar reality to solve the mind-bending puzzles on your path,” says Hadrien from Innerspace.
The game is coming to PlayStation VR, Rift, Vive, and Windows VR, and will be out later this year.
