This A Plague Tale: Innocence Video Features Rats Exploding From A Horse’s Stomach

I was having a really good Friday until about twenty minutes ago, since then I’ve seen Cayde-6 die and now, hundreds of rats explode from the stomach of a twitching dead horse. This job really should come with a therapist.

Anyway, we have a new video, a whole sixteen minutes of work-in-progress footage of Focus Home Interactive’s A Plague Tale: Innocence. The game is set in Paris in the year 1349 and features Amicia and her younger brother Hugo who must avoid the Inquistion and a lot of rats. It looks rater like a mash up of Hellblade and Two Brothers, and that’s a good thing in my book.

The previous teaser trailer also featured rats eating a guard alive, if you don’t like rats then it’s safe to say this game is not for you.

A Plague Tale: Innocence is set to release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC but no date has been set.
