The development of Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice hinged on its depiction of mental health issues in its lead character and saw Ninja Theory delving deep into researching psychosis, its causes, how affects people and more. Throughout it all, they’ve championed greater understanding, and so today on World Mental Health Day, they’ve announced Senua’s Scholarship to fund the training of mental health tutors.
Ninja Theory are partnering with CPFT NHS Recovery College East for this, who collaborated on the game’s creation.
And alongside the announcement, they’ve also released the Senua’s Psychosis making-of feature online, which was previously only available within the game.
