THQ Nordic Now Own Carmageddon

Continuing their endless quest to buy every single IP on the planet, THQ Nordic have splashed out on controversial (at the time) racer, Carmageddon.  This takes the total of IPs owned by THQ to a little over a bilionty-twenty, including Timesplitters, Darksiders, and Saints Row.

This doesn’t mean a new game is on the cards, THQ Nordic CEO Lars Wingefors recently said “Out of the more than 100 IPs we own, you shouldn’t expect sequels from all of them because not all IPs are relevant any more.”

The last game in the franchise, Carmageddon: Max Damage, was decidedly average, we gave it 5/10 in our review.

THQ Nordic are currently working on 35 games across their many studios and unlike some, are in rude health with profits rocketing.
