Kingdom: Two Crowns is a 2D sidescrolling strategy/resource management hybrid with a minimalist feel wrapped in a beautiful, modern pixel art aesthetic. I know that because that’s the blurb on the official website and I had to go and look it up as I hadn’t heard of the game until now.
You play as a king or queen, riding around on their horse, or as this trailer seems to show, lizard-dragon thing. Your job is to make your procedurally generated realm thrive by fighting creatures, exploring, and looting artefacts. If you like a bit of pixellated strategy this may be the game for you.
Kingdom: Two Crowns is out next Tuesday, December 11th, on PC, Switch, PS4 and Xbox One
