It’s time to take another fabled classic game, give it a new coat if paint, and flog it to the nostalgic oldies who remember the original. This time it’s Sega and Forever Entertainment who have teamed up to remake Panzer Dragoon and Panzer Dragoon II Zwei.
Confession: Never played either of them.
“The new version of the game will be characterised by a completely new graphics compatible with today’s standards and several modifications of the game, making it more attractive to modern players, while remaining faithful to the original in terms of story,” say Forever Entertainment.
The last game in the series was Panzer Dragoon Orta, released in 2002 and recently made backwards compatible on Xbox One. Formats and a release date have yet to be revealed.
In May this year we ran a feature ‘10 Classic Games SEGA Should Bring Back From The Dead‘ and Panzer Dragoon was one the games lusted, so obviously they listen to us so I shall just add – POWER DRIFT REMAKE PLEASE!
