Hitman 2 Drops To Below £20, Deals Here

Less than a month after release Hitman 2 has had a huge price cut and can now be bought for less than twenty quid. Both Argos (PS4 / XB1) and Amazon (PS4) have the deal, although for some reason Amazon haven’t cut the price on the Xbox One version.

“Hitman 2 is full of the best Hitman stealth action yet,” said Tef in our review, “Whether you’re a blackmailing pink flamingo, throwing briefcases at people, or getting robots to do your dirty work, the satisfaction of an expertly planned and executed hit is like nothing else.”

  1. Wow, good shout, purchased.

  2. Right. Someone needs to take Mr Cub somewhere and lock him away for about 3 years.

Stop tempting me with bargains you’ve found and reviews of things I might like! My backlog hates you!

I’m confused by what’s included in Hitman 2. The ridiculously long list of trophies follows the same scheme as the previous game. All the missions are listed as DLC. 7 of them. Is that what’s in the expansion pass? But that’d make £20 for the tutorial level (plus the previous game’s levels) not really a bargain.

Is it £33 on top for all the levels? But that expansion pass says “two expansion packs”. So £16.50 each for a couple of extra levels?

It was so much less confusing with the previous game, where you could buy the whole lot, or the first level plus a bundle of the rest, or a bundle of everything, and then the extra bits, and the GOTY upgrade.

No, that wasn’t simpler was it?

Oooh, a £99 version on Amazon with the expansion pass and a rubber duck. No, must not buy.

    • You’re overthinking it. It’s the whole “season” of six missions.

      • That’s good then. So they’ve basically just turned season 2 into a new game, all released at once, and forgot to hide the evidence? So each mission is in the trophy list as DLC.

I’ll send you off to the “special place where you can’t hurt my backlog any further” too then.
