The PR team at Bethesda need a slap on the back for the marketing of Rage 2, the videos really have shown how colourful and silly the game is and the launch trailer is no exception. Packed full of footage from the game it gradually travels back in time, but doesn’t end at the beginning on the game.
Instead we got back even further, with flashes of the E3 reveal, Walmart Canada’s leak, then back even further to footage of the original Rage and quite along sequence where someone has to drive to an actual shop to buy a game rather than having a digital download or Amazon drop it on their doorstep.
