“The team kept working on it and you kept playing it” said Todd Howard of Fallout 76, as he acknowledged the fact that Fallout 76 was a bit trash at launch and that… well, Fallout fans are pretty persistent.
Fallout 76: Wastelanders is the next step in the game’s future, introducing human NPCs into the game for you to interact with through full dialogue trees, a new quest line with choice and consequence as you choose between different factions.
A new game mode will also be introduced called Nuclear Winter. Yup, it’s a Battle Royale mode, but will all of the Fallout 76 scavenging and camp building included.
A free trial of Fallout 76 will be available from 10th to 17th June across PS4, Xbox One and PC, with a sneak peak of Nuclear Winter included.
