MXGP 2019’s first gameplay trailer revealed, out in August

Milestone’s yearly churn of two-wheeled racing games continues, with the next big title being their dirt bike racer MXGP 2019. The game will be coming to PS4, Xbox One and PC on 27th August.

Following on from MXGP Pro last year, the 2019 game will feature all of the latest riders, bikes and teams from the current season, but they will now be joined by the MX2 category. In the game’s career mode, you can either start by competing in MX2 or jump straight into MXGP with an official or custom team.

MXGP 2019 will also bring a new track editor, letting you create custom tracks in a modular fashion from Motocross specific blocks, and then share those online to compete on.

Last year’s MXGP Pro focused on making the series more realistic than ever before, challenging players with the increased difficulty that this would demand and successfully rebooting the series. In our review, Tom said quite simply that “This is by far and away the best MXGP game to date.” We look forward to Milestone taking the series on to the next level with MXGP 2019.
