A couple of months ago Breaking Walls revealed Away: The Survival Series during a State of PlayStation stream. The game puts players in the body of a sugar glider as it navigates a dangerous natural world avoiding or fighting predators and taking on environmental challenges. Now the studio has released two minutes of gameplay footage which shows the sugar glider as it fights predators, as well as additional features that are coming.
That additional feature is playing as other animals like frogs, crabs, praying mantis, and spiders. Each of the animals will have their own traits that can help with getting past obstacles. The trailer seems to imply you’ll jump from the sugar glider to an animal nearby with it likely being used to help out. Away is due to release for PS4 and PC.
