Two Point Hospital is coming down with a case of consolitis, spreading to PS4, Xbox One & Switch later this year

It looks like all the best Windows anti-virus software couldn’t stop Two Point Hospital from being infectious and spreading like a nasty cold to consoles. Sega and Two Point Studios have announced that the popular hospital management game is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch in late 2019.

The game originally came out for PC in August 2018, immediately gaining a following among the ageing Theme Hospital fanbase. With fun and friendly hospital management and tons of quirky diseases to diagnose and cure, it got the basics spot on, but continued to improve through a number of updates and expansions. Features like the Interior Designer, copy and pasting room layouts and character customisation will all be included in the console releases. Not only that, but so will the snowy Bigfoot and tropical Pebberley Island expansions.

Here’s a few screenshots of the PS4 and Switch versions of the game:

Mark Webley, Game Director at Two Point Studios said, “Bringing Two Point Hospital to console is something we always envisioned when starting up Two Point Studios in 2016. Our community’s number one question since launch has been: ‘when is Two Point Hospital coming to consoles?’. Well, it is happening and we are very excited.”

In our Two Point Hospital review, Dom wrote, “There are few games that can boast the level of personality and humour that Two Point Hospital does while still giving you something serious to sink your time into. For anyone with fond memories of Theme Hospital, this is the silly hospital management sim you’ve been waiting for.”
