An completely legitimate leak has suggested that Sony are making PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale 2 as a launch title for PlayStation 5. Even more convincingly, Sony have teamed up with fighting game supremos Capcom to create the title.
The not-at-all-made-up game is said to be coming to PC a year after it launches on Sony’s next console, with cross play between PC and PlayStation 5. The leak has also listed all the characters who will be playable when the game launches next year.
- Nathan Drake
- Ratchet & Clank
- Jak & Daxter
- Aloy (Horizon)
- Helghast (Killzone)
- Crash Bandicoot
- Tomb Raider (Tomb Raider Legend)
- Jill Valentine
- Sir Daniel Fortesque
- Parappa The Rapper
- Ellie (Last of Us)
- Delsin Rowe (inFamous)
- Cloud (FF7 Remake)
- Solid Snake
Well I don’t know about you but I am convinced. Sony clearly need Capcom’s help when creating a game, and Spider-Man is totes appearing in PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale 2 because that won’t be a licensing nightmare at all.
The most convincing argument for me that this leak is totes legit is that everyone wants PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale 2! It did so well when it launched landing at number 38 in the UK charts on the week release and then vanishing from the charts like a ninja, never to be seen again the following week. In fact it did so well the entire development team at SuperBot were given unlimited holidays for the rest of their life and never had to work for the company again!
We really loved the game and gave it 9/10 in our review. but that was written by Blair who has since left us as he has been detained at Her Majesty’s pleasure and now spends his days in a padded room screaming “All Stars is a 9/10 game! IT IS!!”
Last month we got our first look at the PlayStation 5, or at least the development kit version, you can check that out here.
