[UPDATE] Here’s when you’ll get early access to FIFA 20 via EA Access

UPDATE: It’s live on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One! Go go go!

Original story below…

FIFA 20 will be hitting the shelves in bricks and mortar stores on September 27th but if you have an EA Access subscription you get to play the game early, today in fact. The trial should go live around or before 8pm UK time tonight, although the exact time has yet to be finalised.

EA Access is available on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and PC owners can sign up for Origin Access. You’ll need to pay $4.99/£3.99/€3.99 per month to get the service, or splash out on a yearly subscription at $29.99/£19.99/€24.99. You will be able to play the full game for up to ten hours via the trial.

We have posted our In Progress review of the game, “On initial impressions then, FIFA 20 seems to have thing together where it matters: on the pitch,” says Aran. “The single player aspects immediately show they have a lot of depth to them, and you could happily spend hours on the career mode without venturing online. Volta is also a good distraction for now, but from first impressions it is missing that special spark that was in the original FIFA Street games.”

We will be posting a full review of the game, including online modes like FIFA Ultimate Team, in the next few days.

If you don’t have EA Access then you can still try out the game by downloading the demo, which is out on all formats, by using the following links:

The demo includes the Kick Off and Volta game modes and you can play as Liverpool FC, Atlético de Madrid, Manchester City, Real Madrid CF, Borussia Dortmund, PSG, Roma, Club América, Los Angeles FC, or Vissel Kobe.

  • Difficulty Level: Beginner / Amateur / Semi-Pro / Professional / World Class / Legendary
