Earlier this week it was stated that a brand new trailer for Respawn’s Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order would be released, and as promised it has arrived. The trailer itself mostly focuses on the story aspects of the new title but manages to keep the major plot points shrouded, similar to how the recent Star Wars movie trailers have been.
In the trailer Cal learns of places that are important to the Empire as well as the Jedi Order, and it is these places he must find to try and rebuild the Jedi. In the Star Wars timeline the events of Fallen Order take place in the aftermath of Order 66 where most of the Jedi have been slain. Cal is a Jedi Padawan who is on the run from the Empire, which is hunting him down to continue the purge and stop any rebuilding effort. And the Empire is throwing everything it can at Cal.
There are some moments of gameplay in the trailer showing Cal in battles and using his Force powers. Every move and power will need to be trained though due to Cal being a young Jedi. You also see the exploration aspect at play as players choose which planets to go to. In addition there will be areas that can’t be reached until Cal becomes more powerful so returning to planets to find new areas seems like it will be a must.
