A brand new map is going to be added to Battlefield V on October 3rd, and it’s a map that has taken inspiration from Battlefield 3. Operation Underground can trace its roots back to the Operation Metro map, though there are obviously a lot of changes. Before we delve into those have a look at the brand new trailer for Operation Underground.
Operation Underground is located in a German city with it available in the Conquest, Squad Conquest, Breakthrough, and Team Deathmatch modes with a limited time rotation in Rush as well. It’s a small map that supports Infantry only with the streets, open plaza and train station ideal for fast-paced, close-quarters combat.
In Conquest the capture points are divided up between these three locations. Point A is surrounded by enterable buildings so it won’t be easy to get as the enemy can come from anywhere. Point B is the Train Station where there are various flanking routes and the risks of areas getting flooded. Point C is located in the Plaza where a town hall sits in the middle of an open area so there’s a lot of space to cross.
