Monster Energy Supercross 3 announced, coming February 2020

It was only back in February this year that Monster Energy Supercross 2 was released, but it seems Milestone will be looking to make this series an annual one as now Monster Energy Supercross 3 has been announced and given a release date. That release date is February 4th 2020 and the game is confirmed for PS4, Xbox One, PC via Steam, Switch, and Google Stadia.

According to the little ticker in the trailer there will be a new compound to train in as well as play co-op in, online races will apparently have no delays, infinite tracks are possible through the track editor, and there will be women racers. If you want to get an idea of the series then you can read our Monster Energy Supercross 2 review in which Thomas wrote:

Monster Energy AMA Supercross 2 FIM World Championship – The Official Videogame, to give it the full name on the box, is a step forward from the previous incarnation. It takes elements from other Milestone games such as the improved visuals and track deformation, adds a few unique features of its own and provides a perfectly acceptable dirt racing game experience. But, in a world where acceptable isn’t quite good enough, I wish more developers dipped their toes into the bike racing arena to really push Milestone to another level. MEAS2FWCTOVG is solid but uninspiring.

From the heady days of the Mega Drive up until the modern day gaming has been my main hobby. I'll give almost any game a go.

  1. I think leaving a few years between entries would be good. They need to bring MX Vs ATV back to its roots, unleashed days with a mix of Reflex 😍 and then milestone will have to pick up there game!
