GameAssistant Team has announced a new piece of software it will be releasing in March that will automate game tweaking on PC. GameAssistant is being touted as a tool that will make sorting out game settings easier as well as addressing additional issues like being able to skip opening movies, and unlocking FOV sliders so players have more options. The team has stated that currently over 200 games are compatible with the program with these including Alan Wake, all the Batman Arkham titles, Dying Light, the BioShock games, and The Witcher games. The features of GameAssistant include:
– disable startup videos
– set modern resolutions
– set windowed mode
– enable anti-aliasing
– enable or disable VSync
– set 120 Hz / 144 Hz refresh rate of FPS limit
– override FOV
– increase visual quality (more detailed shadows, max anisotropic filtering)
– disable some effects (depth of field, bloom, motion blur, chromatic aberration)
– enable or disable mouse smoothing and acceleration
– fix crashes, poor performance and other issues
– enable cheats
GameAssistant has been priced at $9.99 but also features special edition DLC priced at $5.99. The DLC adds the features of multiple accounts. The below features are only available for the account that owns both the main app and the DLC.

– kill game process
– tweak that modifies CPU affinity (less than 10% games)
– tweak that modifies process priority (less than 2% games)
