Persona 5 Royal’s latest trailer has Morgana giving a crash course

It is about six weeks until Persona 5 Royal is released and some of you may be wondering what this game has over the original Persona 5. Well, for a start there is the new character of Kasumi Yoshizawa, a celebrated high school gymnast who enrolls in the same school as Joker at the same time. The difference is Kasumi doesn’t agree with the actions of the Phantom Thieves but she ends up joining anyway for her own reasons.  In the trailer below Morgana gives an overview of the Phantom Thieves as well as the new features that will be in the game.

Atlus also confirmed that those who pre-order will get the Persona 5 theme, but don’t fret if you don’t pre-order. Everyone who gets Persona 5 Royal will have the original Persona 5 DLC for free. There are a few versions of the game to order if you do want to and they are as follows:

Phantom Thieves Edition (Physical) – €89.99 / £79.99 / AUD149.95

In our original review of Persona 5 Dave wrote:

“Persona 5 stole my heart. It was impossible to believe that the best game of the already venerated series was still to come, and yet somehow everything works wonderfully. I’d rather the dialogue didn’t pad things out as much as it did, but I was captivated from beginning to end, while it successfully brought back mechanics long thought out-dated, and introduced smart changes for the better. An essential RPG for 2017 that you should not miss out on.”
