Offworld Trading Company and GoNNER are this week’s Epic Games Store free titles

The Epic Games Store free titles have refreshed once again giving you the opportunity to pick up two more games for no cost whatsoever. The first of these titles is Offworld Trading Company in which Mars is now a colonised planet meaning different corporations are vying for control of this new market. The game is described as an economic RTS and Civilization fans may be interested to know Civ IV’s lead designer, Soren Johnson, is one of the people behind the game.

The second game is called GoNNER and its official blurb states:

GoNNER is a tough as hell score-based procedurally-generated platformer with roguelike elements. GoNNER is also a story about friendship between Ikk, Death, and a space whale named Sally.

Next week’s games have also been confirmed and there will be three free titles up for grabs. These include an exploration title called A Short Hike, the adventure exploration title Anodyne 2: Return to Dust, and the adventure title Mutazione. In our review for Mutazione Steve wrote:
Mutazione is a great example of how games can immerse you in a world in a manner that no other medium can achieve. Whilst it doesn’t push any envelopes, it is easy to recommend to anybody who is interested in games that can get an emotional response. Don’t let the description soap opera put you off; this is a movingly, melancholic and meditative experience.
