Developer Eko Software has dropped a free new update for Warhammer: Chaosbane, adding a fifth playable character to the game’s roster.

Keela is a Dwarf Engineer and she’ll be joining the four current heroes in fighting against the unending tide of Chaos horrors.

She’s available as part of a free update which launches today on all available platforms including PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Alongside Keela, Eko has opened the doors to a new area of Chaosbane, adding new story content that clocks in at an estimated two hours.

She’ll battle her way through dungeons shoulder to shoulder with the game’s ragtag band of fantasy fighters. These include Empire solider Konrad Vollen, High Elf mage Elontir, Dwarf slayer Bragi Axebiter, and Wood Elf scout Elessa.

Keela looks particularly well equipped for those wanting to enjoy Chaosbane as a solo experience. Using her engineering prowess she can deploy a range of turrets and other Dwarfen gadgets to thin the herd while battering the rest with her custom made war hammer.

Here’s what players can expect from the new area being added to the game today:

Keela takes players to a new environment: the Forges. During this new story arc, players must investigate the events happening around the Forges of the Empire capital, Nuln. The Gunnery Master of the famous Imperial Gunnery School has put out a call for help: the foundry complex is in the grip of a terrible affliction. The city’s best engineers are trapped inside. Players must break inside the complex to try and save the trapped engineers and defeat the scourge that has beset the Forges.

At launch, Nick gave Warhammer: Chaosbane a tidy 7/10 in our review, describing it as a good dungeon crawling RPG though one lacking much wow factor beyond its successful adaptation of the Warhammer Fantasy world.
