Leaks regarding the next Assassin’s Creed are incorrect, according to industry insider Daniel Ahmed aka ZhugeEX who is usually very good with his information. Posting on Resetera Daniel wrote that every leak regarding Ubisoft’s next entry to the series is incorrect, including that the name will not be Raganarok. He’s full post is below.

For what it’s worth. All of the new AC leaks so far have been incorrect. It’s not even called Ragnarok.

Sure. Some of the details are right. Like improved combat or whatever. But in general they’re not that accurate.

Additional alleged leaks stated that the game would have players traverse around the Nordic nations and parts of England. It seemed that more evidence had appeared when the special editions of the game, with Valhalla and Mjolnir editions appearing on Amazon and Gamestop. There is also an image in The Division 2 depicted a Viking holding the Apple of Eden, one of the main pieces of lore within the Assassin’s Creed series.

We do know that next Assassin’s Creed won’t be appearing until at least 2021 with this year’s big launch now being Watch Dogs: Legion after that was delayed from its early 2020 release date.

You’d have got away with it if it wasn’t for that pesky “Related stories” bit.

    I know. Shush ;)
