It seems that a new Jurassic Park game is on the way. A trademark spotted by Jurassic Outpost (via Screenrant) shows that Universal City Studios LLC, aka Universal Pictures, has filed for a project called Jurassic World Aftermath. The filing suggests that Jurassic World Aftermath will be a game, but there are no details to suggest what kind of game it will be nor who the developer is. That leaves room for some interpretation. First it could be that Universal Pictures is creating a tie in game for yet to be named Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom sequel which is supposed to be coming out next year, though whether that will remain the case is unknown. Alternatively, Jurassic World Aftermath could be a follow up to Frontier’s Jurassic World Evolution allowing you to expand the capabilities of park building.
There was some rumours in 2016 that Perfect World was working on a Jurassic Park themed survival game but nothing ever came of that. Maybe Jurassic World: Aftermath is that survival title pitting you in the shoes of someone who becomes trapped on an island full of dinosaurs. Or the game could simply be another mobile title similar in vein to Jurassic World: The Game where players collect and battle dinosaurs against each other. The full listing description is below.

The listing mentions everything from software, downloadable games, mobile games, video game consoles, and virtual reality. That does not necessarily mean Universal will be releasing Jurassic World Aftermath across all of those platforms, and instead is protecting the trademark from being infringed upon.
