2K have announced that the third story expansion for Borderlands 3, snappily titled Bounty of Blood: A Fistful of Redemption, is scheduled for release on 25th June. It will be coming to the game on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Google Stadia.
Bounty of Blood: A Fistful of Redemption, #Borderlands3’s next DLC, arrives June 25. Travel to Vestige, a small town on the harsh desert planet of Gehenna to claim a bounty on the vicious beast-riding gang known as the Devil Riders.

Following on from Moxxi’s Heist of the Handsom Jackpot and Guns, Love and Tentacles: The Marriage of Wainwright & Hammerlock, it’s clear that Gearbox have decided to give their DLC expansions ridiculously long names. Still, Bounty of Blood: A Fistful of Redemption will add the new setting of Gehenna, feature a new cast of characters, including Rose and Juno, and tell the story via an unseen narrator.
The expansion will also beef up the gameplay with a customisable JetBeast hoverbike, and four new interactive objects. Two examples are the Traitorweed, which can temporarily turn enemies into allies when shot, while the Breezebloom will boost you up high to see far off into the distance.
However, before we get to that, Gearbox will also be dropping a free content update in the form of Takedown at the Guardian Breach. This is a new endgame gauntlet that will be added to the base game on 4th June. Similar to Takedown at the Maliwan Blacksite, this will be an extreme test of your skills and gear, scaling to the number of players in your party, but designed for four players.
Takedown at the Guardian Breach arrives June 4! Along with new enemies, low-gravity platforming sections, and environmental puzzles, you'll have to overcome both a miniboss and final boss to locate the source of a mysterious Guardian signal.
