Media Molecule is looking for testers for the PSVR version of Dreams

Media Molecule has begun its search for testers to help refine the PSVR version of its game Dreams. The developer stated that for now the test would be limited to players in Europe and that there would be limited spaces. In addition, anyone who is successful in signing up will have to sign a non-disclosure agreement barring them from talking about any of the features they may be testing. The test itself will be in three phases and at the end of the test testers will be paid a £200 incentive bonus. The three phases are as follows:

Phase 1) 1-hour introductory session, via video call, on Tuesday 2nd or Wednesday 3rd June 2020.

Phase 2) 2-week Diary study, from Weds 3rd – Weds 17th June, during which time you would be required to provide short reports every 1-2 days on your experience of playing the game.

Phase 3) Final Interview, on Weds 17th, Thurs 18th or Fri 19th June, lasting 1-hour, via video call. The final incentive payment would be processed at this point.

Each phase will have to be met to get the payment. If you are interested in signing up for the Dreams PSVR testing then you can do so by clicking on this link. Media Molecule has not stated when the VR update will be released following the testing period as the developer will need to tweak any issues that are highlighted before releasing it for general use.

In our Dreams review, Jim wrote:

Taking Media Molecule’s creative ethos to new heights, Dreams is a PlayStation essential. Booting the game up each time and having no idea what awaits is an intoxicating feeling. A remedy, forcing me from the rut of my predictable gaming habits to explore an inner creativity I’m often too lazy or wound up to let free.
