Annapurna Interactive and BluuTwelve have revealed Stray, which seems to be some kind of cat simulator in a futuristic city. As Stray (our name for the cat) you wander a city which has a mix of humans and robots that have screens for faces showing their emotions. The cat has some kind of pack on its back. The cat is lost in this city and is looking for a way home.
The description reads:
Stray is a third-person cat adventure game set amidst the detailed neon-lit alleys of a decaying cybercity and the murky environments of its seedy underbelly. Set to launch in 2021, players will play as a stray cat, roaming surroundings high and low, defend against unforeseen threats and solve the mysteries of this unwelcoming place inhabited by nothing but unassuming droids and dangerous creatures. Lost, alone and separated from family, players must untangle an ancient mystery to escape a long-forgotten cybercity and find the way home.Â
Stray will be released as a console exclusive on PS5 in 2021.
