Nintendo Switch Online July NES & SNES games includes Donkey Kong Country

Nintendo has confirmed the latest games that will be added to the NES & SNES library of games that can be accessed through the Switch Online subscription, and one of those is a classic title. That would be Donkey Kong Country which originally released on the SNES in 1994. Joining Donkey Kong from the SNES line up is wrestling title Natsune Championship Wrestling, and that also released in 1994. The NES game is EA’s The Immortal and that originally released in 1990.

The description of each game can be read below.

  • Donkey Kong Country – Armed with chest-pounding muscle, mighty barrel rolls, and awesome vine-swinging skills, Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong set out to face their adversaries, K. Rool and his reptilian crew of Kremlings. Play solo, compete with a friend, or play cooperatively in over 100 levels filled with collectables and hidden bonus levels.
  • Natsume Championship Wrestling – Choose from 12 outrageous wrestlers and bring the pain! With a robust grappling system and over 50 moves to master, experience the most realistic wrestling action of the 16-bit era! Test your might against the AI, or up to two players can compete in exhibition, tag team, and round robin matches! 
  • The Immortal – Grab your Wizard’s Pack and let your quest unfold as you explore the Labyrinth of Eternity. Delve into the dungeon’s depths to uncover the mysteries of the ancient ruins. Your teacher Mordamir awaits below!

All three games will be available to download from July 15th, provided you have a Nintendo Online subscription.

  1. Had The Immortal on the Megadrive. Remember it being super hard. Never got past the spider level.
