Welcome to the summer lull, seven weeks of arid wasteland without a major release on the schedule. Most years that would make sense, everyone is out enjoying the sunshine on holiday, this year it seems like a missed opportunity as gaming is more popular than ever and people are crying out for new games.
With no new releases Ghost of Tsushima remains at the top of the charts but last weeks number two, Paper Mario: The Origami King for Nintendo Switch, drops to fourth place with Animal Crossing: New Horizons clambering over it to claim the second spot. Other than that, the rest of the top ten jiggles about a bit but new stocks of Ring Fit Adventure has propelled up ten places to number ten.
