The former Stadia exclusive title Super Bomberman R Online is going to be released for PC, Switch, PS4, and Xbox One soon, Konami has confirmed. It will also be playable on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S via backwards compatibility. Just like the Stadia release, Super Bomberman R Online will launch as a free to play battle royale title, pitting 64 players against each other.
In Super Bomberman R Online matches start with 64 players but rounds get smaller as players are eliminated until a final few stand to compete in the final. There are 100 customisable combinations, though those who buy the Premium Pack will get more options. The pack will cost €9.99/£9.99/$9.99. It will add 14 additional characters that are based on Konami franchises. Additionally, premium pack owners will also be able to create private rooms, allowing games such as the battle royale, classic Bomberman rules, and a Grand Prix where two teams of three compete against each other.
