The Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festival was among the many gaming events impacted by the pandemic last year, having returned over the weekend with some major reveals for Square’s ever-popular MMORPG.

Of course, going into 2021’s Fan Festival, we all knew that Final Fantasy XIV’s upcoming expansion, Endwalker, would be placed under the spotlight. However, we now have confirmation that Final Fantasy XIV Endwalker will launch on November 23rd, 2021, for PC, PS4, and PS5. Those who pre-order this fourth expansion will get to play even soon via early access which is planned for November 19th. Make sure you watch the latest cinematic trailer.

As in Heavensward, Stormblood, and Shadowbringers, Endwalker will be adding a glut of new and revised content to Final Fantasy XIV. This includes new areas and activities as Square Enix once again beef up the MMO’s endgame, XIV’s level cap having been raised to 90.

One announcement from the 2021 Fan Festival that will delight fans is the reveal of a new playable class, The Reaper.

This sinister new damage class will accompany the Sage when Endwalker launches later this year. As for new races, Square have finally given into fans after many months of begging to play as male Vieras.
