CD Projekt RED has reaffirmed that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition is still set to be coming to PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC this year with enhancements that take advantage of the extra power available through the current tech. These enhancements will bring a bunch of visual and technical improvements, including ray tracing and faster loading times across the base game, expansions and various other bits of extra content. Some of that extra content was announced during WitcherCon, and it will be free content based on The Witcher Netflix series. In addition, this content will be available for all versions of the game.

Those who own The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on the PS4 and Xbox One will be able to get a free upgrade to the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions. A release date for this new complete edition of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is yet to be confirmed. Additionally, during WitcherCon the release date for season two of Netflix’s The Witcher was confirmed, and it will be available to stream from December 17th. You can watch the teaser trailer below.
However, if you cannot wait that long then on August 23rd you will be able to watch The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf which will follow the story of Vesemir, before he became Geralt’s guide and father figure.
