Destroy All Humans! 2 Reprobed officially announced for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC

Destroy All Humans! 2 Reprobed has officially been announced by THQ Nordic. Sony leaked the announcement of the game a few days ago before removing the Tweet and trailer. The game will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.  Black Forest Games is handling the remake of Destroy All Humans! 2, and that makes sense considering that the studio also developed the remake of Destroy All Humans.

Back in March, THQ Nordic teased a release of Destroy All Humans! 2. This tease came via a tweet promoting some DLC skins, and in that tease Cryptosporidium 138, protagonist of the sequel, made an appearance. In the tweet about the DLC skins, THQ Nordic wrote “Join the invasion and you might get to Destroy All Humans too!”

In our review for Destroy All Humans, I wrote:

“Destroy All Humans is a faithful remake that retains the charm of the 2005 original, while dramatically overhauling the visuals and making some improvements to the gameplay. Perhaps a bit too faithful, with missions that now feel too simple and limited to the point of just being a bit boring.”

You can read the full review here. The story is of Destroy All Humans! 2 is set ten years after the first title with Crypto 137 dead, probably from old age as the clones have a short life expectancy. Our new hero, Crypto 138 is almost identical to his predecessor apart from one small detail. Actually, he would probably say a it’s a very big detail as he is the first Furon to have genitalia. The plot takes him to San Francisco, London, Tokyo , and finally to the Moon, and includes characters such as Arkvoodle, Lord of the Sacred Crotch.

  1. I look forward to this, haven’t played it since the original released. Hopefully they only update the graphics and gameplay. I’d prefer it if they kept all the dialogue and humour exactly as it is.
