Marvel Future Revolution Beta Release Header

Marvel Future Revolution, the mobile action MMO from Netmarble, has finally released Magik as its new playable character.

As part of the game’s new December update, new content and a companion based on Marvel’s Spider-Man: No Way Home also feature in-game.

Wielding her devastating Soulsword and a grimoire of powerful spells, Magik is the ninth hero available in Marvel Future Revolution. Each comic book icon has their own unique movesets and powers, as well as storylines, cutscenes, and customisation options. Speaking of which, if you swing by for the latest update, you’ll instantly get 1,000 Crystals and a flashy Magik costume set.

Here is the game’s current roster of Marvel icons:

  • Captain America
  • Doctor Strange
  • Storm
  • Black Widow
  • Star-Lord
  • Iron Man
  • Spider-Man
  • Captain Marvel
  • Magik

Like other Marvel mobile games, Future Revolution includes plenty of MCU movie tie-in content and events. To celebrate the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home, you can now recruit the webhead as a companion to fight by your side.

From the same team that brought you Marvel: Future Fight, this latest game is designed in the style of a traditional open world MMORPG. Dropping into zones inspired by various Marvel storylines, you’ll complete quests, grind mobs of enemies, and defeat bosses.

Having played the game for a dozen or so hours already, it’s one of the best looking mobile titles out there. However, the unsurprising layer of crafting, currencies, and consumables can be a headache. Fans of the genre may also be put off by its heavy grinding and the inclusion of an auto-play mechanic.
