The Hitman 3 May update is now available on all platforms with developer IO Interactive adding new features, content, and fixes.
Ready to install on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, Google Stadia, and Nintendo Switch, expect a download size between 2.15GB and 3.22GB, depending on platform.
Those PC players wanting some extra World of Assassination glamour can now enjoy real-time ray-tracing as well as adaptive supersampling. Together, these provide noticeable improvements in shadows, reflections, and overall visual fidelity.
There’s also new content to be found in the Hitman 3 May update with the Berlin Egg Hunt offering an additional mission that unlocks the Yellow Rabbit Suit. Meanwhile, the Elusive Target Arcade has a new challenge that unlocks The Ducky Gun, a silenced pistol that quacks with every shot.
As always, there is an extensive list of patch notes to scour through (click the link below). IO Interactive recently shared more details on its upcoming Year 2 map, Ambrose Island, with an update on Hitman 3’s Freelancer Mode.
Hitman 3 May Update Patch Notes
In our Hitman 3 review at launch we scored Agent 47’s last outing an 8/10:
Charting the series’ progress since that 2016 Paris debut has been a fascinating journey. IO have learned a lot over the past five years and that really shows in Hitman 3. It’s a flashier, more fluid evolution of IO’s original template – a rewarding conclusion to one of the most unique video game franchises around, and one we’ll continue playing for many weeks and months to come.
Check back next month for the Hitman 3 Year 2 June 2022 roadmap.
