The Xbox & Bethesda Showcase has been and gone, throwing trailer after trailer at us to preview and reveal games coming to Xbox and PC in the next 12 months. I mean, some of them are coming to other platforms that remain unnamed, but there was a real focus on having actual gameplay to show off Microsoft’s biggest first party games.
Also Activision Blizzard. Lots of Activision Blizzard, because Microsoft are not far away from its vast acquisition of the company.
So, for Redfall, Forza Motorsport, Starfield, Grounded, Fallout 76, Diablo IV, Overwatch 2, Scorn, Ark 2, Persona (!), an appearance by Hideo Kojima and a bunch of other games, scroll on to see on the trailers. I think almost everything is coming to Xbox Game Pass too.

As Dusk Falls piqued my interest – hard to tell if it’s my kinda game, but the story looked interesting and i’m curious to know how the story branches work with multiplayer.
It’s great that it’s coming to PC Game Pass, so much for the year ahead too!

Cocoon looks appealing. I’m losing interest in Scorn though, it still has a wonderfully bizarre aesthetic appeal but the gameplay looks like a lot of back and fro thru samey-looking tunnels.

Very much looking forward to Starfield. I really hope it is not too big and buggy though. Also hope it has enough to keep my interest it looks it from what I have seen but sometimes I find space exploration games a bit overwhelming then boring. Looking at you no man’s sky.
Having just finished A plagues take I am also looking forward to the next installment, never my favourite game but good fun to play through all the same.
I have an issue with Redfall though, I mean I am not asking for hyper realism in games but come on it is 2022 and with the tech we have can you really not have a person reach to open a damn door. I want to be immersed in a game and I can’t when it is a a floating gun and no hands or arms to do things.
