Those hoping to see some new content and game features will have to wait for the next major update. Recently, Crytek added a new quest system as well as two new enemy variants, promising that more changes are coming soon. In the meantime, here are the latest patch notes.

Hunt Showdown Update 1.57 Patch Notes

  • Fixed an issue where single shot weapons sometimes couldn’t be reloaded due to switching while vaulting or quick switching.

  • Fixed an issue where the New Army second mastery reset upon prestige (Book of Weapons).

  • Fixed an issue where the game crashed when a Hunter used a chaos bomb and then shot the cloud with a Posion Bolt.

  • Fixed a text format issue of the Scottfield Brawler mastery in the Book of Weapons.

  • Fixed an issue where the Summon progress was unintentionally doubled in some cases after a mission.

  • Fixed an issue where the quest progress was not being recorded properly when the game crashed.

  • Fixed an issue where the custom ammo slots were not being activated in the custom loadout screen.

A couple of upcoming changes revealed by Crytek include a region/ping limit, a black market to trade items, and 45-minute cap on matches.

Having recently celebrated its fourth birthday, Hunt Showdown is being adapted into a live action series exclusively for free streaming platform, Binge, later this year. That’s not all Crytek has planned for its popular shooter, teasing some pretty big changes and updates coming soon. Hopefully, this includes a beefed up version of the game on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
