A Nintendo Direct mini show for third party games announced for tomorrow

Nintendo have announced a new Nintendo Direct Mini Partner Showcase for tomorrow, Tuesday June 28th at 6am PT (2pm BST). The show, which is actually twenty five minutes long so not that mini at all, will present third party games rather than anything from Nintendo themselves.

The lack of Nintendo titles has left some people disappointed but there could be a few big game reveals, Bayonetta 3 is still in production somewhere and there are rumours of a Mario + Rabbids title. You will be able to watch the show on YouTube.

Microsoft and Bethesda had their showcase during E3 week but Nintendo and Sony have been remarkably quiet, perhaps trying to distance themselves from the huge number of games that were revealed. EA and Ubisoft have also been rather silent, but we might see something from Ubisoft quite soon.

Recently Nintendo has released a demo of Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, a spin-off battler to the hugely popular tactical RPG Fire Emblem: Three Houses. The demo is out now via the Nintendo eShop, giving a sample of the start of the game and with all progress carrying forward to the full release of the game.

Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes is out on 24th June, but you can start early with the demo. It lets you play up to Chapter 4 within the game, trying out the three leader paths that you can take through its battle-filled narrative. The demo also supports local two-player co-op, to ramp up the chaos in the fray.

Head to the Nintendo site to add the demo to your account, or simply find it on the console’s eShop.

Three Hopes is the latest Musou spin-off by Koei Tecmo and developer Omega Force. They’ve struck up a firm partnership with Nintendo in recent years, starting with The Legend of Zelda series spin-off Hyrule Warriors, following that up with a Fire Emblem series adventure called Fire Emblem Warriors, and then starting to dive into the worlds of individual games with Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, and now Three Hopes.
