Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis is a free to play title, and the PS4 version will have all the latest updates included, such as Frozen Resolution and the new Waker class. The New Genesis release takes place a thousand years after the events of Phantasy Star Online 2 classic. In this world, a new generation of fighters called ARKS along with the powerful Meteorns that have dropped on to the planet Halpha fight a war against the enemy known as DOLLS.
Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis allows players to create unique avatars thanks to an in depth character creator. The game will also continue to have regular updates that will add new enemies for players to fight, events to encounter, and items to acquire through the exchange shop. The original Phantasy Star Online was the first ever console MMORPG, launching on the Sega Dreamcast way back in the year 2000. It would later come to Windows, GameCube, and PlayStation 2, receiving numerous expansions over the years.
