Captain Marvel is the subject of the latest deep dive video for Marvel’s Midnight Suns’, showcasing some of her abilities and powerful cards. The main focus of the video is the unique mechanic that Captain Marvel has, and that is Binary. There is a Binary meter that needs filling which when full doubles her attack power, and block. However, if Captain Marvel loses her block then the Binary meter goes with it too.
There are a number of cards shown in the video. One of those cards is Cosmic Ray which is a pretty basic attack, but if that card is upgraded then Captain Marvel will also gain a counter. Counters allow characters to attack an enemy after being attacked automatically. The upgrade to this attack also adds a 10% chance of stunning an enemy. Another card is Regroup. This card adds some block while upgrading also returns health and also adds cure to remove any negative status effects. Rain of Blows is a more powerful attack that takes all of Block to use, but upgrading adds resist to avoid taking damage on the next attack. Of course, these are just a handful of cards available for Captain Marvel.
