Argos has got one of the best deals of Black Friday 2022 going on right now, with the ability to get a PlayStation 5 DualSense controller and a PS5 copy of Horizon Forbidden West for just £45! That’s a stunning saving of £80 from their combined RRP!

Update: Sadly this deal has now been modified by Argos, though you can still get a DualSense with Horizon Forbidden West together for £75 and make a significant saving from RRP. Hopefully everyone that wanted to grab this managed to do so!

The deal is only available with the white and black versions of the DualSense controller, but it’s still and offer that’s hard to pass up. The offer is valid until 30th November, but you’ll want to move fast just in case Argos run out of stock.

If you want another colour of DualSense controller, Sony has slashed £20 off the RRP with retailers, dropping it from £65 to £45. Some, like Argos, have gone a little further and knocked the cost down to £40. Technically that makes Horizon Forbidden West just £5 if you’re taking them up on this offer.

You can see the rest of Sony’s PlayStation Black Friday 2022 offers here, which include 25% off on all PS Plus subscriptions and hundreds of offers on the PlayStation store.

In our Horizon Forbidden West review, we scored the latest Sony exclusive a 9/10, making it one of the best PS5 games to date. Not only is it a technical showcase on both PS4 and PS5 (see our technical comparison) the sequel also flexes a much-improved focus on characters while cleverly reshuffling a number of gameplay elements.

Jim said in our review:

“Horizon Forbidden West improves upon Zero Dawn in almost every aspect. The story is particularly well written and ebbs and flows from air punching highs to dark, horrific lows. Like later Jurassic Park movies it suffers from the fact that we’ve already seen massive robotic dinosaurs on our TVs, the wow factor is reduced, and that the puzzles, crafting, and RPG elements could have been lifted from any number of games. Even so, it’s still a spectacular robo-beast smack down and thoroughly enjoyable to play.”

  1. Incredible deal, snapped it up even though I didn’t particularly want either a new controller or Horizon.

Works in Argos Ireland too by the way (€52.98 for Horizon PS5+Black Dualsense), so if the deal was a mistake they’ve copied it onto another website.

    Thanks for pointing it out!
