Hell Let Loose Burning Snow launching December 6th

Hell Let Loose’s next update Burning Snow has been revealed by Team17, and it is set to be released on December 6th. Hell Let Loose Burning Snow is a major update adding the new map of Kharkov, and new items. Those items include flamethrowers, Molotov cocktails, the Soviet T-70 light tank, Willy’s jeep, and the Kubelwagen. There will also be two DLC packs released  including the Winter Warfare DLC, and the cosmetic DLC bundle of helmets called Skull Bucket.

“We’re really excited to release Burning Snow,” said Maximilian Rea, Game Director and creator of Hell Let Loose. “Players have been asking for many of these features and now that we’ve accomplished parity between the platforms, everyone will get to experience the new items simultaneously. This map combines a hybrid of the armour-oriented gameplay of Kursk, featuring wide open fields, hills and Stalingrad’s industrial gameplay; including railroads, bridges and Soviet urbanization complimented with deeper valleys, foliage and marshlands all set in a winter environment to make this map a unique experience. We feel players will relish the varieties of combat that this new frontline will offer.”

There will also be free weekends for Hell Let Loose so people can get a taste of the action. The first free weekend will be this weekend from December 1st, while the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S free weekend will take place on the weekend of December 8th.

In our Hell Let Loose review, I wrote, “Hell Let Loose could become a real hit amongst those looking for a bit more of a grounded experience than Call of Duty or Battlefield. However, the experience will rely heavily on the community engaging with each other positively to put plans together and make the experience authentic. Hell Let Loose is a game about teamwork and without it the chaos of war will overwhelm a player.”
