Oops. It looks like Steam accidentally confirmed the release date for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will be on 16th March 2023. This backs up previous reporting that the game has a March release date, and ruins any potential surprise that EA might have had lined up for The Game Awards which will stream this week on 8th December.

Update: EA has confirmed that Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will be at The Game Awards for a gameplay trailer reveal.

The Steam page has now been scrubbed clean of details, but briefly had a full and detailed listing. That was quickly captured and published by Gematsu on Twitter.

This listing also confirmed some pre-order bonuses. For Standard Edition pre-orders, buyers will get the ‘Hermit’ cosmetic, lightsaber  and ‘Combustion’ blaster, inspired by Obi-Wan Kenobi. Meanwhile, Deluxe Edition pre-orders get Han Solo and Luke Skywalker-inspired cosmetics bundles.

Oh, and there were even some PC specs!

For the minimum requirements, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor needs:

  • CPU – 4 core / 8 threads – Intel Core i7 7700 / AMD Ryzen 5 1400
  • Memory – 8GB RAM
  • GPU – 8GB VRAM – Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 / AMD Radeon RX 580
  • Storage – 130GB

For the recommended system specs, you want:

If you’ve not already played the first game, then it looks like you’ve got around 4 months to catch up. In our review for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Jim wrote:

“Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is exactly the kind of single player game we had originally hoped to see when EA and Disney joined forces. Even if you strip away the license, you’re left with a super satisfying mix or combat, story, and exploration, deftly crafted by a studio best known for spearheading an entirely different genre.”
