Announced during last night’s Nintendo Direct, there are now playable demos for both Octopath Traveler 2 and Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe. While Kirby’s revamped adventure is a Switch exclusive, Octopath Traveler 2’s demo is out now across all launch platforms, including PS5, PS4, Switch and PC.
Octopath Traveler 2’s demo is rather unique, in that it allows you to choose any of the eight protagonists in the game, starting off any of the stories that feature, and then play for three hours. Save data will then carry over to the full game when it launches on 24th February 2023.
For Kirby’s Return to Dream Land, a special demo has been created that’s playable with up to four players across a selection of stages and subgames. Nintendo also revealed that the game has been expanded from the Nintendo Wii original to feature a new story. Magalor Epilogue: The Interdimensional Traveler will be available at the end of the main Story mode.
Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe also launches for Nintendo Switch on 24th February.
