Grand Theft Auto V joins Xbox Game Pass

GTA V

Grand Theft Auto V is available on Xbox Game Pass from today, with game available on console and the cloud, with the console version having both Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S versions available. Grand Theft Auto V leads the July charge of Game Pass additions, with several other titles being added across cloud, console, and PC.

Sword and Fairy: Together Forever has been added to Game Pass too, with it available on PC, consoles, and cloud. In our review for Sword and Fairy: Together Forever Review, Adrian wrote, “The plentiful issues of Sword and Fairy Together Forever make it hard to recommend; lacklustre graphics, eye-numbingly long loading times, and uninspired combat do not a great action RPG make. And yet, and yet, if you can look past the problems you’ll find a charming RPG with fantastic mythology and an intriguing world to explore.”

Tomorrow, July 6th, will see the addition of McPixel 3 for console, cloud, and PC. On July 11th, Common’hood, a squatter settlement simulation, will be added for console, cloud, and PC too. On the same day, Insurgency: Sandstorm will be added for PC. July 14th sees the big release of Exoprimal for cloud, console, and PC.

Can Exoprimal be the fun and dumb summer blockbuster we need?

A new game preview is being added July 18th for Techtonica, whose description reads, “Dig into the sub-surface, bioluminescent world of a rogue alien planet as you explore and construct sprawling factories in Techtonica. Work alone or in co-op to master automation, gather resources, research new technologies, mold the destructible terrain, establish a base of operations, and uncover long-forgotten secrets.”

On the same day, The Cave will also be added for cloud and console. In our review for The Cave, Nofi wrote, “Think of it as a modern-day underground refresh of Maniac Mansion with the wit of Guybrush Threepwood’s adventures (with a much smaller inventory) and you’re probably not too far off.”
