Trombone Champ slides onto Nintendo Switch today with 4 player multiplayer!

Last year’s most unusual viral video game, Trombone Champ is out on Nintendo Switch today, with motion controls and multiplayer thrown into the mix.

Trombone Champ on Nintendo Switch will be playable either with motion controls to move the trombone pitch up or down, or by holding your hand up to the IR sensor on the right Joy-Con, playing like it’s some kind of Nintendo theremin.

The game will have 50 songs for Switch, so not the kind of wild variety that’s possible by side-loading music into the game on PC – no playing the “Liz Truss Resignation Speech”, sadly. However, you do have four player multi-player, which really embraces the game’s penchant for absolute musical chaos.
