In October, you will need to jump to the left and then take a step to the right. Well many steps to the right and jumps in all directions, as FreakZone Games has announced The Rocky Horror Show Video Game, which is coming in the form on a retro platformer with the iconic songs from The Rocky Horror Picture Show redone as 8 bit chiptunes.
Going by the trailer, you will play as Brad, Janet, and Dr Scott as the navigate through various trap filled levels as they try to escape from the castle of  Dr. Frank N. Furter and his muscle man Rocky, hailing from the planet Transsexual in the galaxy of Transylvania.
This is not the first time The Rocky Horror Show has been adapted into videogame form, with the very first adaptation happening nearly 40 years ago in 1985. That version was developed by CRL Group for the Amstrad CPC, Apple II, Commodore 64, Commodore 128, and the ZX Spectrum. In that game, players took control of Brad and Janet to find pieces of the Medusa machine while trying to avoid the inhabitants of the castle. It was then remade for PC in 1999 as The Rocky Horror Interactive Show, becoming a point and click adventure.
The Rocky Horror Show Video Game is set to be released for PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC via Steam, and Switch.
