Max & the Magic Marker Heads to PSN with Move Support

The ‘Gold Edition’ of the fantastic Wii/DS title, Max and the Magic Marker, is heading to PSN on September 28th in Europe, and October 18th in North America.

Featuring full Move support, the game sees you control Max as he overcomes 58 levels full of puzzles. The hook is that you can use the Magic Marker to draw items on the screen, so for example if you need a bridge to cross a gap you can simply draw one in and it’ll appear.

  1. Design is a bit childish, but the premise could prove to be a winner!
A bit Trine-ish but with more action, perhaps.

  2. It reminds me of Sackboy’s Prehistoric Moves, but with more focus on the motion-control. I know the Wii-version has two-player support, so this will probably too, which means as long as it’s well priced I’m sold.

  3. Ooh, I’ve been waiting on a good move game to get my Mrs involved in gaming. This could be it!

    • Agreed. She likes Move games but their hasn’t been much to talk about lately. I actually miss having some more casual games for the motion controls. I bought a Sharpshooter and returned it because it just wasn’t comfortable. The design was great but it weighed too much. Where is my Sorcery?

  4. From the description I thought it was going to be similar to Scribblenauts (though rather than naming items and having them appear, you’d draw the objects like Eyepet). But you just seem to be drawing lines/shapes/scribbles, that stay as lines/shapes/scribbles.
