Those lovely folk at PlayStation Access have created a video that shows the PlayStation 4 next to its older brother, the PS3, because these things are very important to the internet.

The rather cheeky Saints Row IV Game Of The Generation Edition has been announced and is limited to just 5,000 units. It includes all the tat from the special edition and plus a rotating illuminated display case for the game.

People are still sticking the boot in to Aliens: Colonial Marines and the latest is, uhm, an actual Colonial Marine.

“I did a voice in the Aliens game that they made,” said Michael Biehn a.k.a. Hicks. “That wasn’t fun at all. I just didn’t really have any fun. It seemed kind of passionless. I think in movies, television and the gaming world, you get some people that are really, really passionate, and some people that are just going through the paces.

“They think that because they have a brand name they’re going to get a hit game or hit movie out of it. That certainly was the situation on [Aliens: Colonial Marines].”

The Elder Scrolls Online would like you to meet the Scamp, the love child of Gollum from Lord Of The Rings and a Gremlin. That’s one sex tape I do not want leaked to the Internet.

The Ashes 2013 video game has been delayed, Tim Woodley, senior VP global brand & marketing for 505 Games explains why:

“Unforeseen issues which developer Trickstar faced in latter stages of development have meant that they have been unable to do the requisite amount of polishing and fine-tuning which any game needs. We owe it to ourselves, to our licensors, the ECB and Cricket Australia, but most of all to the dedicated cricket fans and gamers to put our best foot forward.”

A cynic may imply that “unforeseen issues” may include the ridiculously warm weather across Europe which means everyone is purchasing sun hats and water pistols rather than video games. Naughty cynic, everyone tut very loudly in his general direction.

The game will now be released to coincide with the second leg of the Ashes series which takes place in Australia this coming November.

Time for yet another trailer, this time for IL-2 Sturmovik: Battle of Stalingrad which will contain a brand new single player campaign, a “true to life” AI system and historically correct reconstruction of all key operations of the Stalingrad battle.

Disney has registered a number of domains based around the words Star Wars Attack Squadron. EA snapped up the Star Wars license a while back but the House Of Mouse retained certain rights to create games for the casual market so the domains may relate to a new Facebook game.

  1. I emailed a youtube to Teflon and asked him to forward it to you, as didn’t have your email address. Did you get it?

  2. Wow, that IL-2S video looks great, definitely going to keep my eye on it.

  3. You’d think the game Star Wars Episode VII would be the most interesting entry on that picture, right? Is the official subtitle of the next episode known yet?
Shadows of the Sith must have been a spin off, since the new movie hasn’t been that far into development at that stage I asume.

    • I was thinking that too. Be interesting to hear how old that title was, might help judge how far from the new films the concept might be.

  4. Omg shame Jedi Knight II was cancelled, easily one of the best Star Wars games.
