Ubisoft and Obsidian Entertainment have released a string of clips from upcoming South Park role-playing game, The Stick of Truth. Due out next month for PS3, Xbox 360, and PC, the game will include original voice work from the show’s creators, Matt Stone and Trey Parker.

The trailer above shows an amalgam of clips, featuring plenty of iconic characters, not to mention the usual payload of pop-culture references and offbeat humour.
Originally pegged for release in early 2013 the game was delayed after former publisher THQ closed its doors, auctioning off its own IP.

“Don’t touch him, he’s ginger!”? Wow! Discrimination based on hair colour? Skin colour is a ‘no’, but hair colour is OK. How is it acceptable to infer discrimination based upon hair colour? I recently made a colleague literally shit herself when she made a “having a blonde moment!” comment in a meeting and I asked her to explain her comments and inferred approaching personnel.
In my eyes this is not acceptable behaviour and this game will not be in my collection.

You’ve clearly never seen an episode of the show then?, if a joke about ginger hair offends you I wouldn’t recommend watching any, thats nowhere near as offensive as it usually gets!. I for one cant wait for the game, looks epic

South Park has always been about being offensive to everyone and everything under the sun.
If you feel a comparatively mild ginger-joke is too much, then you shouldn’t touch this game with a sterilised ten-foot stick…
