Yatagarasu Attack On Cataclysm Coming To Japanese Arcades Soon, English PCs Less Soon

The new version of Yatagarasu has been a long time coming, and very soon the wait will finally be partially over. On February 12, Yatagrasu Attack on Cataclysm will be making its way to arcades and game centers all over Japan, thanks to TAITO’s NESiCAxLive digital distribution service. This will put the game alongside other notable doujin fighting games like Akatsuki Blitzkampf and Melty Blood that managed to eventually find their way to arcades.

For the uninitiated, Yatagarasu is an indie fighting game made by three former King of Fighters developers. Attack on Cataclysm is an updated version that was funded through Indiegogo. where it made $118,243 from its original $68,000 goal.

The team will use these funds to add three new playable characters, as well as eventually localize the game and release it on Steam in Japanese and English. Hopefully we get word of a release date soon.
